Operation Orbit

OPERATION ORBIT

Phase 01 - Concept

The starting point wasn’t capacity, pockets, or aesthetics. It was a simple question: can the Rogue 50 go beyond?

Not beyond its job - beyond expectations.

Beyond the environments it was originally built for. Beyond the limits most tool bags are ever asked to face.

This wasn’t about changing the Rogue 50. It was about trusting it.

Stripping the idea back to fundamentals, the focus became clear: remove failure points, expose the bag to extremes, and see what holds.

OPERATION ORBIT

Phase 02 - Engineering

With the Rogue 50 chosen the focus moved from planning to execution.

- How are we getting the Rogue 50 into space and back again?

- How would critical equipment be protected and recovered?

Operation Orbit meant preparing for conditions far beyond everyday work: temperatures dropping well below freezing, pressure changing rapidly, high wind speeds, vibration, and sustained forces acting on both the bag and its contents.

OPERATION ORBIT

Phase 03 - Mission

When everything was in place, the focus moved from planning to execution.

This wasn’t a hands-off exercise - our team was involved at every stage of the mission, from preparation through to launch and recovery.

Running Operation Orbit meant coordinating people, permissions, and processes beyond our usual world.

Throughout it all, the Rogue 50 was treated like any other piece of working equipment. No special casing. No allowances. Just expected to perform against the odds.
